Ya feelin’ spooky this Halloween, but you’re preggers with twins? Don’t sweat it! There are plenty of great options that will let you and your growing bump show off your creative side this holiday season. Here are some of our favorite Halloween costumes for your twin pregnancy.

Use the Belly!

Your baby bump is your most beautiful accessory during your twin pregnancy, so why not make it the centerpiece of your Halloween costume? Whether you’re going for something cutesy or spooky, plenty of ideas will make your bump the star of the show.

An Autographed Baseball

When I’m not thinking of Halloween and falling leaves in October, I’m thinking of baseball! If you are a baseball fan or just ready to pop, this costume is for you! Grab a white maternity t-shirt and paint red baseball stitching across the belly portion of it. Next, grab your husband’s favorite baseball jersey (you get extra points if you opt for a Minnesota Twins jersey) and tie it just above your baseball belly. Put on your baseball hat, eye black, and get your husband to autograph your belly (use your favorite player’s name, the names you are planning on for the babies, or just the name of the man responsible for this).

Magic 8 Ball

If you’re looking for an easy and creative way to show off your twin pregnancy at Halloween, why not craft a unique Magic 8 Ball costume? All you need is a black outfit and a large 8-ball prop that you can attach to your belly. Double up on your shirt layers and add a response like “Ask Again Later” on the undershirt for a fun and playful twist.

Gumball Machine

Turn your baby bump into a gumball machine. This fun and eye-catching ensemble will make you the star of any party or trick-or-treating outing. Start with a white shirt that fits comfortably over your baby bump. Next, attach colorful pom-poms to the belly area of the shirt to create the look of gumballs. Add some red pants or a skirt, and a red hat to top off the costume.

No-Fuss Halloween Costumes for Your Twin Pregnancy

We all know that pregnancies, especially with twins, can be physically demanding. So, when it comes to Halloween costumes, it’s important to prioritize comfort. Pregnant women have enough on their plates as it is, so why add the stress of complex costumes to the mix? Opt for costumes that can be assembled with minimal effort but still have a big impact.

Pregnant Skeleton

If you’re expecting twins and looking for a fun and creative Halloween costume, why not dress up as a pregnant skeleton? This spooky yet comfy costume is perfect for celebrating the season while staying comfortable in your pregnancy. Plus, it’s sure to get some laughs from all of your friends! Buy this adorable maternity shirt, add your favorite (and most comfy) black leggings, and you’re done.

Avocado

Who wouldn’t want to be an avocado for Halloween? Well, if you’ve got a baby bump, then this is a really easy costume to create! You need a brown shirt, a cardboard cut in the shape of an avocado with a hole cut out in the middle, and a green marker. Color the cardboard green for the inside of the avocado. Stick your “pit” (or baby bump) in the hole and attach.

Mummy-to-be

Seems completely appropriate to dress as a mummy-to-be when pregnant on Halloween. Grab a white outfit, and then let your older kids or your husband wrap you in the softness of toilet paper. Attach two sets of eyes to your belly and make your little mummies part of the costume!

A Tired MoM-To-Be

When you are thinking about what to wear on Halloween as a tired pregnant mom-to-be, consider dressing as yourself, and don’t be afraid to exaggerate it a bit. Wear your most comfy maternity clothes. Doesn’t matter if they are clean or dirty, in good shape or “well-loved,” embrace this opportunity to showcase your tired pregnant side. Create some epic bedhead, add some dark circles under your eyes (if you were like me, makeup may not be necessary), and carry around a family-size package of Oreo cookies. And yes, you are allowed to eat the Oreos, and no, you do not have to share!

“Prego” Sauce

When it comes to maternity Halloween costumes, it’s all about embracing your pregnancy and celebrating it in unique ways. One fantastic idea is to dress up as a “Prego” sauce bottle. This clever and pun-tastic costume not only showcases your sense of humor but also allows you to flaunt your twin pregnancy proudly. Get a red dress or maternity T-shirt, stick the “Prego” logo on your belly, and voila, the perfect Halloween costume for your twin pregnancy!

The little zombie babies want out! To create this gruesome yet funny costume, grab a white T-shirt and a couple of baby dolls you are willing to dissect. You need four arms and four legs and some fake blood. Hot glue the arms and legs to your t-shirt and add the fake blood for the ultimate horror of escaping babies.

Juno

Dress up as the character from Juno with the help of an orange-and-white striped shirt, a baggy jacket, and a plaid skirt layered over jeans. And, don’t forget to carry around a gallon of Sunny Delight! This a fun and funny Halloween costume for your twin pregnancy.

Pregnant Rachel

Dress up as the moody, miserably pregnant Rachel from the Friends episode “The One Where Rachel Is Late.” Grab a red tank top that does not fit over your belly, a long, black knit skirt that is worn under your belly, allowing your belly to show in all its glory. The best part of this costume, is you get to walk around snapping at everyone, just like Rachel!

Whatever you decide, have fun and enjoy your twin pregnancy this Halloween season. It’s a special time in your life, so don’t be afraid to embrace it with a creative maternity costume that shows off your sense of humor! And, no matter what you choose to dress as this Halloween, have fun and be safe! Happy Halloween, Mama!
