In your wake, you brought double the diapers, double the feedings, and double the opinions in very tiny bodies. You laughed in the face of my old schedule and replaced it with beautiful, unpredictable chaos.
And somehow, you also brought a kind of love I didn’t know existed.
You gave me synchronized sleepy smiles and matching milk-drunk faces, the magic of watching two little humans discover the world — and each other — at the exact same time.
You let me witness built-in best friends forming a bond before they could even sit up.
