We recently asked our community:
How soon after having your twins did you get pregnant again?
And here’s what twin parents shared…
Within the first year
“About 2 weeks before my twin girls turned 1. I found out after their birthday. Their 1st singleton brother was born 9 months later and after that we had 6 more! Total: 4 girls, 4 boys, only one set of twins. We got double blessed naturally the first time out. Then on their 16th birthday our 8th child was born, so they share their birthday with their littlest sister. My twins are identical and are 31 now, are married, have 2 kids each but no twins.” — Nicole
“I got pregnant 6 months postpartum!! I was on birth control and everything, but I was on an antibiotic that made it not work. And I HONESTLY didn’t know it would do that, and yeah I’m now 29 weeks with a baby boy and 14 month old twins!!” — Ariel
“10 months!! Currently have 3 under 2 My twin girls are 19 months and we just had our little boy! After having newborn twins, he feels oddly easy…” — Kelsie
“12 months.” — Lori
“6 months postpartum.” — Opal

“7 months. 4 under 3. When I had my last baby in February, my oldest was 3 and half, and my twins were barely 16 months. Don’t recommend it.” — Melissa
“I got pregnant roughly 11 months after I had my boys. Unfortunately, I lost that pregnancy. 3 years later and I’m pregnant with our 3rd (technically). She’ll be here the beginning of Dec.” — Erica
“7 months. Thankfully they are all grown up.” — Hollie
“Literally 1 year later. I’m due in April 2026, so I’ll have 3 babies under 2! Thank God my twins are walking because mama is out of energy.” — Jazziee

After the first year
“I have 3 older singletons and then a set of twins. All of my kids’ age gaps are 18 months (ish) apart. We loved that age gap for our kids. However, after the twins, we waited until they were at least 18 months old before we started trying again. I am now pregnant with my 6th and the twins will be just over 2.5 when the baby is born.” — Nicole
“1 year almost to the day!” — Maria
“18 months.” — Eliza
“10 years.” — Tanja
“9 years later.” — Rozy
“Unintentionally at 10 months. Nope nope nope. Byeeeee.” — Leila
