Recently we asked our Twiniversity fans what the best lessons they have taught their twins so far. Here’s what they had to say!

– My boys just turned 10 months old and are horrible listeners, but we are working on teaching them everyday, more and more, as they get older to listen more and share. ∼ DNG

– The best lessons I have taught my twins so far is to take turns. They can be very patient considering they are only 2 years old. ∼ LC

– One of the best lessons I taught my twins is to not come out of their room in the morning until a specified time. We used the Goodnight Nightlight when they were younger, and now we just tell them what time they can come out of their rooms (usually 7:30 am on weekends) and thankfully they listen! ∼ MHF

– The best lesson I have taught my twins so far is how to make dinner. I started teaching them little by little when they were 9 years old. Now they are 11 years old and cook 2 nights a week and they make their own lunch too. It is wonderful! ∼ TR

– The best lessons I have taught my twin daughters so far is that if they work together they have the power to drop any man to the floor! ∼ SL

– Taking turns and sharing are the best lessons I have always taught my twins so far. They are 10 years old and still wait for the other person before they push an elevator button. ∼ MHF

– My favorite lessons I have taught my twins so far is how to work the TV and DVR on their own. I have also taught them to do simple chores around the house-unloading the dishwasher, setting the table and laundry. They are 5 years old and love the opportunity to help out. ∼ MZ

– I think the best lessons I have taught my twins so far is “Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.” I’m not sure how much they understand that yet as they are still young, but we’re working on it. ∼ SLB

– The best lessons I have taught them so far is that they are on the same team. ∼ RMR

– The best lesson I have taught my twins so far is to give mommy a back massage. Their little 2-year-old hands are still a bit weak but they are getting better at it. ∼ MI

– I try to always teach to my twins that fair doesn’t always mean everyone gets the same. Fair means everyone gets what they NEED at that time. That’s how we do it in my house. ∼ AD

– I like to think that the best lessons I have taught my twins so far are to resolve their issues through communication and cooperation. ∼ SK

– The best lessons I have taught my twins is that friends will come and go, but sisters are forever. This is especially true in middle school. ∼ HWP

– I have always taught my twins to be respectful of each other. They might not always agree, but they need to respect each other regardless. ∼ FRR

– The best lesson I have taught my twins so far is that I’m the boss! Just kidding!  ∼ AHB

– I’m still working on teaching my twins the lessons of patience and sharing. It’s a constant struggle in our house.      ∼ TF

– The best lessons I have taught my twins so far is that they are always #1 in my life. ∼ KZ

– I try to teach my twins to be kind to each other and wait their turn. There are 2 of them and neither can go first all the time.  ∼ FP

– I like to think that the best lesson I have taught my twin so far is to always be kind. There is too much negativity in the world why add to it?  ∼ SLH
