work or stay at home

In this episode of the Twiniversity Podcast, Nat chats with Jenny, a mom of two-year-old twins, about choosing to go back to work or stay at home full time.

To work or to stay at home? That is the twin parent question. Parents of twins all over struggle with this choice on a daily basis. There are so many factors that go into the choice to stay at home with your twins or go back to work: family budgets, career goals, life balance, etc. No matter what you choose, there is typically a good amount of guilt that comes along with it.

In today’s podcast, Nat chats with Jenny Bynes, a mom of two-year-old twins and a finance professional, about the struggles between opting to go back to work or stay at home full time. They also discuss at length about the various options and combinations of work and childcare for parents to try to suit their needs for work/life balance.

Jenny’s current schedule has her working in an office part-time for three days a week and home with her twins two days a week. We get an inside “look” into what it’s like to have 2-year-old twins at home, as Jenny’s twins take over the podcast with their giggles and antics. It’s truly a snapshot into what it’s like to be a stay at home twin parent of toddlers!
